Today, we are giving study to our children in English Medium instead of mother tongue due to society follows or we believe that my child should speak English well.

Basic learning of child starts from home. If any of parent is not speaking English well, how the child will learn/speaks. If you are speaking Gujarati language, how will child do English translation of Sansi, Velan, Barsakh etc. Studies in school will also be difficult for child. Child will make sentence in mother tongue (in mind), then he will join words & then he will speak or write in English. It’s double trouble for child.

English is very good language & one should speak/write/understand but for study (Primary), mother language is the best. English must learn as subject but all subjects should not be teaching in English. If you teach Maths, Science & Geometry etc in English, you are violating child’s self esteem.

What I am concerned as parent for my child?? He should get Love, peace, courage, confidence, responsibility & ultimately live the best life in future… right??… Where the English language require?? 

 “Child should study in same language in which he/she cries”.

Bottom Line…Give basic studies to our child in mother tongue for better future of his/her own, country & world.
